Females in Motorsport x McLaren Applied: STEM Search

The competition is now closed. The winner will be contacted on the 8th of June due to the extension of the competition.

Females in Motorsport and McLaren Applied are looking for an amazing woman in STEM!

We are looking for someone who is currently studying for a degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths) subject at a UK place of education. You can be of any age over 18 and at any stage of your education.

The winner will be invited to attend an event at the famous McLaren Technology Centre (MTC) on Friday 24th June to celebrate International Women in Engineering Day 2022. The event includes a tour of MTC, including the Boulevard and the McLaren Applied production facility, lunch and a Q&A session with women working in STEM careers at McLaren Applied, including a one-to-one ‘speed session’. Should the winner identify a potential mentor, they will receive on-going mentorship for up to a year.

To apply you need to submit a video answering the following questions:

What do you love about STEM and why? What would change for you if you got this opportunity?

We're not looking for the best video quality or editing skills but we want to see your creativity and passion shine through. Tell us why we should pick you!

Please ensure the video is between 30 and 60 seconds long and upload it to YouTube as a Private or Unlisted video.
