Dominika Grnova: “I love giving women the confidence that they can achieve anything they dream of”

Dominika Grnova, better known as Dominika Rides, has always been drawn to motorcycles, even during the years when riding felt out of reach. Growing up between Slovakia and Greece, she admired bikes from the outside before finally getting her licence in 2016. Today, she rides around the world on her custom Ducati Scrambler Full Throttle but also brings the thrill of two-wheel culture to life as a host and reporter for the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, a role she’s held since 2020. Along the way, she’s competed in flat track events, earned advanced Superbike School certifications, and become a respected voice and ambassador within the riding community.

Even though I was a model, my dream has always been to ride motorcycles,” Dominika tells Females in Motorsport.

“Living in London, I was spending hours every day on public transport, and I wasn’t happy. That’s when I decided to finally get my licence and buy my own bike.

“Everyone thought I was crazy, especially as a model. My agencies weren’t quite happy, but I was willing to take the risk.

“That decision changed my whole life. I showed up to castings with a helmet and riding gear, and that’s how I fell in love with it.”

She made it a rule to always wear proper riding gear. Over time, she became known worldwide as the model who rides motorcycles. What began as a fun Instagram account slowly grew into a platform with a large, global following.

“Eventually, Ducati discovered me and gave me a press bike for six months. They simply told me: do your thing, ride on weekends, share posts and stories. That’s when I  began storytelling,” she says.

“Later, they asked if I wanted to become an ambassador. Scrambler Ducati became my first motorcycle family, and I stayed with them for nearly ten years as an official ambassador. This year, after a decade on the Scrambler, I switched to the Ducati Multistrada V2 S and continue my journey as a Ducati ambassador.”

The relationship with Dominika and Ducati has grown naturally over time, shaped by years of riding, shared experiences, and a creative freedom that allowed her to stay true to herself.

“Red Bull then discovered me through my own channels and invited me to Valencia for the final MotoGP round in 2019. They told me they loved my energy, my passion for motorcycles, and felt I would be a perfect fit.“That’s when they offered me the role of MotoGP Rookies Cup presenter and reporter during the race weekends.

“Coming from a non-presenter background, I didn’t even know how to hold a mic at first, but the Red Bull family has been so accommodating. Now, I truly enjoy working with them.”

Dominika enters her seventh season with Red Bull in 2026. One of the biggest lessons from this journey has been confidence, learning to stand up for herself, keep pushing forward, and continue learning. Whether in front of the camera or on the bike, every experience has helped shape that confidence.

She continues to juggle between modelling, reporting, and content creation, but riding remains the most natural role of all.

“Being a biker comes easiest,” she says. “I just put on my helmet and get on the motorcycle.“My first track day in Silverstone was incredible. I raced flat track in the UK twice, and I was on the podium. Such moments gave me goosebumps.

Apart from this, Dominika was also a Host and Reporter at the FIM Awards for three years and has collaborated with Triumph, BMW Motorrad, Harley-Davidson, Lamborghini, Porsche, and Alpinestars, to name a few. She is also an accomplished rider, with racing and training achievements including DirtQuake podiums, DirtFest Ladies Winner, DRE Academy, Days of Joy, and California Superbike School.

“I just enjoy working in motorsports the most,” she says. I love giving women the confidence that they can achieve anything they dream of, and I hope more and more women choose to pursue riding.”

Hey, this vacation was more than just a flight; it was a celebration of my parents' romance. Their trip was made stress-free, easy, and comfortable by the Qatar Airways New York Office in USA. I was able to genuinely enjoy giving them this gift since I knew they felt secure and supported. I knew I had made the correct decision when they excitedly and calmly contacted me from the airport. I will never forget that moment.
